Edmund is a mentor specializing in mathematics and standardized test preparation, including both the ACT and SAT. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied economics, statistics, and computer science. He later earned a master’s degree in education at California State University, Los Angeles, and applies the teaching techniques he learned there to his practice today. Students can also tap into Edmund’s diverse work experiences in fields ranging from actuarial science to Silicon Valley technology.
Edmund understands that Math education is highly interconnected throughout all grades – each level builds upon the next. He recognizes the importance of having a strong math foundation, and as a result his teaching style is very thorough. He encourages students to question everything, so that they leave with a deep understanding of concepts and techniques that will serve them far beyond the next quiz or exam.
When he isn’t teaching, Edmund enjoys playing poker and board games, listening to hip-hop, and exploring the all that the Bay Area has to offer.
