James has always had a passion for math and physics, which eventually led to him studying for an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London, where he is currently a student.
His attitude towards teaching is that each topic, which on its own may seem overly complex or insurmountable can be broken down and solved by simple first principles. Through the reduction of problems into small steps, it’s possible to gain a firm grasp over problem-based thinking at an early stage, which he believes makes anything possible.
In his spare time James enjoys a wide variety of sports and outdoor pursuits. He was previously the Captain of Imperial College’s Gaelic Football team and is a keen mountain biker and rock climber. He also plays the alto saxophone to a grade 8 level.
