Katie’s passion in life is helping students achieve their dreams. She comes from a long line of teachers and coaches, so it was inevitable that education would be her calling. She enjoys applying her coaching, writing, and strategy skills – as well as her experience as an admissions interviewer for both Princeton and Dartmouth – to help students excel academically, athletically, and personally.
Katie works one-on-one with her students, mentoring them throughout every stage of the admissions process; she helps her students find their right-fit schools and strategize college essays that are reflective of their own personal voice, unique brand, and goals. She is there every step of the way, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Katie began her college counseling career in New York City, where she worked with students at Minds Matter and iMentor. In San Francisco, she’s worked as a college counselor and career coach with Summer Search while serving on their Young Professionals Committee.
Katie lives in the NoPa district of San Francisco, where she enjoys running, biking, and trying new restaurants with her friends, fiancé Simon, and puppy Lucy. She also is a spinning instructor at a studio in San Francisco. Katie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton and got her MBA from Dartmouth.
