Bryson is an engineer by education but has worn many hats – mentor, tutor, coach, advocate and educator – over the past 10 years. He feels that the most important work he can do is helping young people identify and achieve their academic and personal goals. He was lucky enough to have people support him in his own development in and out of school, and he wants to provide that same level of encouragement and support to every student with whom he works.
Bryson received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California. His greatest takeaway from his time in college was the charge to be a lifelong learner; and it is this passion for learning that brought him from research labs to working as an educator. With his engineering background, Bryson specializes in tutoring math, from pre-algebra to AP Calculus, and science subjects including chemistry, biology, physics. Recently, Bryson has expanded his scope of practice to include the college admissions process and college transition, as well as SAT and ACT preparation.
Outside of work, Bryson is an avid college and professional sports fan, especially baseball and basketball, and is always on the hunt for a great baking recipe.
