Ella specializes in mentoring history, social studies, english, writing, and study skills. She is currently finishing her master’s degree in international history at the London School of Economics. While in New York City last year at Columbia University, she tutored privately and worked part-time at the Dalton School. Before graduate school, she taught history and English at the Episcopal School of Los Angeles for two years. During her undergraduate degree at Pomona College, she worked as a Writing Fellow and TA for first-year writing seminars in addition to volunteering at local academic enrichment programs for underserved youth. Ella grew up in Washington, DC, where she attended Sidwell Friends School.
In her spare time, Ella enjoys running, hiking, reading, cooking and baking, and exploring London restaurants. Oh, and tutoring!
