Camille Larsen graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Foreign Affairs and Philosophy. During her time at UVa, Camille chaired various bilingual committees for Model UN where she facilitated debate amongst high school students as well as provided detailed dossiers for the conference. In her last two years of university, Camille worked as an Analyst at ESM Prep where she organized all aspects of the annual summer camp - Launch Academy.
After graduating, Camille decided to pursue a finance career in New York City. She has worked in the wealth and asset management space for Merrill Lynch and Lord Abbett. While working her corporate job, she became an Essay Coach for rising seniors at ESM. After serving as an essay mentor many summers at Launch, Camille wanted to continue helping students get into their dream schools by sharing their stories through a unique lens. Given her background in Philosophy and Sales, Camille's approach to writing focuses on two fundamental points: 1) thinking outside the box and 2) choosing the right words to sell your story.
Camille has spent many years living abroad. She was born in California, but spent 14 years of her childhood living in Mexico. During college, she studied abroad in Valencia, Spain and loves to travel and learn new languages and cultures. She's also loves trying new recipes and critiquing films.
