Erin is no stranger to exploring creativity through the written word. Fortunately, her passion became her vocation (and she still pinches herself that she can do what she loves for a living). Erin has workshopped her writing at The Second City and through the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater. She writes scripts, screenplays, novels, and poetry.

While an undergrad at Denison University, she discovered her love for teaching. In addition to college essay coaching, she enjoys providing academic mentorship, specifically sharing her love of English or history with her students. Whether she is teaching preschoolers or college students, her philosophy remains the same: tailoring her teaching to an individual student’s needs, no matter if they are taking an AP exam or writing a personal statement.

During the pandemic, Erin worked at the Venetian Resort as a singer and gondolier. She never expected to put “gondoladriver” on her resume, but it has proven to be a great ice breaker! When Erin is not teaching or writing, she is usually acting on stage or doing improv comedy. She spends lots of time at the beach, reading, or excelling at her favorite sport: thrifting.
