Jennifer holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and spent many years as a scientist at Abbott Laboratories, where she published in three virological journals. Her journey into college counseling began with advocacy work for her special-needs son, which led her to serve on a school board and as part of her local high school’s college/career team. When she’s not working with students, Jennifer enjoys taking her beagle to the dog park, baking, and spending time with her two adult children, both computer science graduates, and her husband.
